About jaimate

Big tech built these tools. I bring them home to Main Street.

jaimate helps small businesses across Marin County and the Bay Area put AI automation to work, set up in person, explained in plain English, built around how you actually run things.

Our Origin Story

Why I started jaimate

Everyone in this space chases the same thing: the biggest businesses with the biggest budgets to spend. That's where the money is, so that's where everyone points.

I looked the other way. The opportunity I saw was right on my doorstep, the local owners actually building the businesses that make this place what it is, the people nobody was bothering to sit down with face to face.

I'm Jay, and I spent almost 12 years at Meta building and deploying systems at scale, the kind that quietly take hours of grunt work off teams every single day. I saw firsthand how much time the right setup gives people back.

Then I'd come home to the Bay Area and notice something that didn't sit right. The local businesses that hold our communities together, the family-run shops, the trades, the restaurants and studios, were getting none of it. The tools that made big companies faster were sitting right there, free or close to it, and nobody was bringing them to the people who needed them most. The technology had raced ahead. Main Street got left behind.

That's the gap jaimate exists to close. I take the same playbook I used inside big tech and bring it to local businesses across Marin and the Bay Area, without the enterprise price tag and without the consultant-speak. Just practical AI automation, set up beside you, face to face, that gives you your time back.

What I Believe

A few things I believe about all this.

Technology should feel simple, not scary. If you need a manual to use it, it wasn't set up right. My job is to make AI feel like less work, not more.

In person beats a login every time. Anyone can email you a tool and wish you luck. I sit down with you, in your space, and stay until it's working and it sticks. That's the whole difference.

You shouldn't have to become a tech person. You're great at running your business. You should get to stay focused on that. The tech is my problem to handle, not yours to learn.

Small businesses deserve the same edge big ones have. The tools are no longer the hard part. Having someone in your corner to set them up is. That's what I'm here for.

Why In-Person Matters

Why I show up in person.

Most AI help lives behind a screen. A video call, a help doc, a chatbot that doesn't quite get your business. For a busy owner who's already stretched thin, that's not help, it's homework.

So I do it the old-fashioned way. I come to you. Whether it's a workshop or 1:1 consulting, we sit down together, I learn how your business really runs, and we build the automation around that, not around some template. Then I don't disappear. I make sure you know how to use what we built and that it keeps working as you grow. Being local to the Bay Area isn't a tagline for me, it's the entire model. You get a real person you can call, who's been to your shop, and who's invested in this working for you. A true Bay Area consultant.
